Costs:

You pay a deposit of three hours of tutoring. Any unused funds are completely refundable. After you have used your three-hour deposit, your credit card will be billed at the beginning of the month for the number of hours tutored the previous month. The client initials the tutor's timesheet at the conclusion of each session. Copies are available upon request.

No long-term agreement required. You may discontinue service at any time with 24 hours notice. If you chose to cancel, any credit balance on your account will be fully refunded.

There is no charge for travel time. Billing occurs only when we meet with the student.

We bill by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Effective January 2016, we will accept e-check payments. We do not accept personal checks or cash. Your credit card information is completely confidential. It is also securely stored in our ADT protected offices.

*There is never an additional fee to add or change tutors, or to add tutoring for a sibling.

There is a minimum one-hour charge per session. Billing beyond one hour per session is calculated in quarter hour increments.*

Logistics

Tutoring services begin only when our office receives a signed contract. Upon receipt of the signed contract, a tutor will be in contact with you to arrange a date, time, and place to meet with the student. Your credit card will not be billed until the first tutoring session has been scheduled.

At your request, tutors will conduct initial consultations with teachers and/or guidance counselors, at no cost to you. Dr. Ralph G. Perrino, Director, is also available at any time to discuss issues or concerns at no additional cost.

You will arrange the schedule directly with the tutor at any time with 24 hours notice. (Meet as frequently or as infrequently as needed.)

For in-home tutoring, a parent or adult guardian must be present while a tutor is in the home. If a parent or adult guardian is unavailable, tutors will meet students at mutually agreed-upon public locations such as libraries. This policy also applies to adult students. *There are NO exceptions to this policy.
