SubjectsAssistance is available in the following forms:Academic Coaching/MentoringModeling and mentoring of a long-term duration. Goals need not to be any more specific than improving study and organizational skills or touching base to keep up with homework.Academic TutoringSubject specific tutoring, with short-term goals. Goals should be clearly defined and measurable e.g. completion of a research paper; preparation for a subject area examination; completion of a reading assignment. Dr. P. is an excellent teacher, but more so, he has an extraordinary ability to understand and relate to children. He believes in their abilities and is able to help them believe in themselves as well. We have used two of Dr. Perrino's tutors with our daughter and have been very pleased with the results.
